Check out the official red band trailer for "A Million Little Pieces," the rehabilitation drama that stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nocturnal Animals, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Kick-Ass) as a 23 year-old aspiring writer who finds himself in the throes of addiction.
Directed by "Fifty Shades of Grey" helmer Sam Taylor-Johnson (who is also Aaron Taylor-Johnson's real-life wife), the film is an adaptation of James Frey's controversial 2003 semi-biographical best-selling novel of the same name, which was based on Frey's own experience of going through a life-changing drug treatment program.
The drama also stars Billy Bob Thornton as an unconventional rehab counselor. The cast is round out by Charlie Hunnam (Pacific Rim, Sons of Anarchy), Juliette Lewis (Natural Born Killers), Giovanni Ribisi (Sneaky Pete), and Odessa Young (Assassination Nation).
The film was co-written by Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. This is their second collaboration together, following the 2009 John Lennon biopic "Nowhere Boy."
"A Million Little Pieces" is due to open in U.S. theaters on December 6th.
